| ok great story from yesterday.
I go with Clark, Joel and Melvin to Moe's to eat before Joel and Melvin go back to Valdosta. Well, i am wearing my yamaha percussion shirt and this guy working looks at me and yells hey check this out and he lifts his shirt and he's wearing the same one. He then asks where i got it and asks if i was in a corps, i told him i wanted try out this year for bass. He then told me he played tenors but he doesnt just play tenors for anyone he played tenors for CADETS, THE FREAKIN CADETS. We then talk some more about drumline and corps, he says to not worry about auditions and to just go for it and have a good time. He then gave me my food for free.
Moral of the story: Wear drumline/percussion/corps related shirts everywhere, you will meet new people and some will have WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS AND MEDALS. and they give you free food, and CADETS ARE FREAKIN AWESOME so show them love too. |

| I'm bored, and i'm in the SLC. I thought i had stat homework due monday but i dont, so i dont plan on rushing to do it. Weekend will be upon me in about 4 hours. I have to go to some feminist lecture today to finish my blue card events so i can register early. Its over masculinity in Homer's Odyssey during the Phaecian Game.
Life is dull here. I need a change. I'm waiting for some kind of epiphany to hit me, any kind will due. I don't think its coming, that is depressing. |
